Unipark-Programm: Online-Befragungen mit Globalpark-Software

Unipark at the General Online Research 2009

On this year’s GOR in Vienna Markus Weiss (project manager of the Unipark program) handed out a special poster award to the research group around Rik Koekenbier of the Amsterdam Public Health service.

The study of the researchers from Amsterdam and Rotterdam Public Health services and Schorer focuses on the question how the inhibition threshold for test procedures can be lowered for the diagnosis of sexual transmitted infections by homosexual men.

Therefore Rik Koekenbier and his colleagues developed an online STI-(sexual transmitted infection) and HIV-Test service which should allow a quicker, anonymous and more pleasant test procedure for the test persons.
Within the scope of an online user survey the internet-based test services have been valued positively by the test persons regarding the acceptance and to the usability.

The social context of this study, to facilitate the test procedure for men with high risk for STI’s in addition to the quality of this study has been the decisive point for Unipark to present the special poster award. The prize has a value of 250,- EUR.
